The Communication committee is BIC's voice. It manages the organization's online presence, creates engaging content and promotes activities to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Social media management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Design of posters and promotional visuals
  • Weekly content publishing: Ivorian proverbs, news, updates from Côte d'Ivoire and Canada
  • Live coverage of BIC events
Activities

The Activities committee is the engine behind BIC's events. It designs and organizes cultural, social and sports activities to bring the community together and create memorable moments.

  • Screening of the film GLA with actress Ahissa Be
  • Hiking trips in Gatineau and Montréal
  • Kizomba × Rétro Ivoire Night — dance class and social evening

Chill and Give back

Born from the merger of the Integration committee and the Charity committee, Chill'ons et Offrons combines conviviality and generosity. It organizes gatherings and charitable actions for people in need.

Achievements 2025–2026
  • Friendly gatherings in Gatineau and Montréal
  • Preparation of 267 sandwiches given to Bread & Beyond for homeless people in Montréal
Finances

The Finances committee oversees BIC's financial health. It manages revenue, expenses and ensures financial transparency for the organization's members.

Strategic Development

The Strategic Development committee thinks about BIC's future. It identifies funding sources, structures long-term projects and ensures the sustainable growth of the organization.
